Chimney repairs
Why chimneys need attention
Chimneys are the most exposed brickwork on any building. Wind, rain and frost attack the mortar, while flue gases can weaken bricks from inside. A neglected chimney can let water into your loft, damage your roof and, in the worst cases, become unstable.

FAQs
Chimney FAQs
Do I need scaffolding?
In almost all cases, yes. It’s the safest way to work on a chimney and we include it in our quote.
Should I repair or rebuild my chimney?
If the bricks are sound, repointing and repairs are often enough. If the stack is leaning or the bricks are badly damaged, a rebuild is the safer long-term option. We’ll give you an honest recommendation.
Can you remove a chimney I no longer use?
Yes. We can take down redundant stacks and make good the roof.
